US President Donald Trump said Monday he had persuaded Israel and Hezbollah to de-escalate, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreeing not to send troops to southern Beirut and the Lebanese militant group promising to stop attacks. Reporting from Jerusalem, FRANCE 24's Noga Tarnopolsky says that, if true, the move represents a "major coup" for both Hezbollah and Iran.
