#BharatReloaded | Former Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba recalls that alongside the legal and constitutional process, extensive planning was undertaken to assess possible reactions, including potential attempts by Pakistan backed elements and separatist groups to create unrest.

In this conversation with DD News, he explains that preventive measures, security deployments, and detailed preparations were put in place ensure the smooth implementation of the Article 370 decision in August 2019.

According to him, the absence of large scale unrest showed that people were “fed up with senseless violence,” adding that it was “all a result of meticulous planning.”
