Madlanga Commission | Azaniah Mnisi weighs in on Karl Sander testimony

Warrant Officer Karl Sander of the KwaZulu-Natal Hawks Serious Organised Crime Unit has appeared before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.

He detailed how drug consignments can be easily compromised upon arrival at harbour control, alleging that police and SARS officials have routine access to the cargo.

Sander further claimed that crime scenes are often contaminated, including through media access, and testified that drugs are frequently stolen during the unpacking process in the control area.
