Analysts say fresh graduates in Singapore may need to moderate their salary expectations, as wage growth this year is expected to diverge across sectors amid global uncertainty. Based on a survey of residents aged 22 to 28 last year, the Manpower Ministry found that graduates across most disciplines earned less than they had expected. The School-to-Work Transition Study also found that around one in three university graduates rejected job offers as the wages were too low. About a quarter said they were holding out for a better opportunity. Caitlin Ng reports.
