Phala Phala matter | Makashule Gana to chair impeachment committee

SABC News Reporter Abra Barbier is in conversation with Makashule Gana of Rise Mzansi who was elected chairperson of the impeachement committee.

Gana received 19 votes including from the ANC and the DA, while UAT's Dr Wonder Mahlatsi received 12.

The impeachment committee was established a week ago after the court ruled that Parliament should establish an Impeachment Committee for President Cyril Ramaphosa to answer to prima facie evidence about foreign currency stolen from his Phala Phala farm in 2020.
