लोकसभा में Qatar के पूर्व अमीर शेख हमद बिन खलीफा अल थानी को दी गई श्रद्धांजलि

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla made an obituary reference in the House on the passing of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Father Amir of the State of Qatar.

Remembering his leadership as Amir of Qatar from June 1995 to June 2013, Om Birla noted his contribution to laying the foundation of modern Qatar, advancing its development and prosperity, and strengthening India–Qatar relations.

The House also conveyed its deepest condolences to the people of Qatar and the Royal Family before observing silence in his honour.
