One day Mr Bean is hurrying to take his bin bag out in time for the rubbish collection, when Mrs Wicket appears from her flat and asks him to wait while she gets hers. She hastily gathers up her rubbish but doesn’t notice that she’s accidentally knocked her purse off the table into a wastepaper basket, and it ends up in the bin bag along with all the other waste.
