Authorities crack down on undocumented migrants

Several buses and taxis have been impounded in the last few months carrying undocumented migrants on the N1 road in Limpopo and other provinces.

Two taxis were impounded last weekend carrying 48 undocumented Zimbabweans nationals on the N1 bypass outside Polokwane.

The Department of Transport says only one passenger in each taxi had a valid passport.
