Nations pledge to strengthen underwater infrastructure security at Shangri-La Dialogue

More than a dozen nations including Singapore have pledged to unite in protecting critical undersea cables and pipelines around the world. It is the first such inter-regional security framework that addresses undersea security challenges. Singapore Defence Minister Chan Chun Sing says such systems are key for connectivity, economic growth and way of life.
