Trapped in a cave for a week: Rescuers in Laos evacuate first of five villagers • FRANCE 24

On Friday night, rescuers in Laos evacuated the first of five villagers who have been trapped in a cave for more than a week by floodwaters. Divers found the five people on Wednesday. Rescue workers have to extricate them and find two other people, who are still missing. Story by Nicholas Rushworth.
