Ebola | Support for Central Africa to contain outbreak

The European Center for Disease Control and Prevention has pledged to ramp up support on the ground to help nations in Central Africa contain the spread of Ebola.

Meanwhile the European Union is pledging more than $17 million in humanitarian assistance.

At least 220 deaths have been confirmed and the World Health Organization warns that eastern DRC faces a catastrophic collision of disease and conflict.
