Chinese Navy releases footage of driving away provocative Dutch warship, helicopter

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Southern Theater Command on Friday released footage showing how its maritime and air forces expelled and drove away a Dutch shipborne helicopter that it said illegally intruded into the territorial airspace over China's Xisha Islands on Wednesday. In a statement, the Netherlands said that HNLMS De Ruyter ‌was ⁠sailing through the South China Sea for diplomatic, security and economic reasons. It declined to comment on operational details. #southchinasea #navy
