High Court suspends establishment of Ebola quarantine facility in Kenya

The High Court has suspended the establishment of an Ebola quarantine facility in Kenya by the United State pending the hearing of an application filed by Katiba Institute. In the ruling issued on Friday morning Lady Justice Patricia Nyaundi also barred the transfer of persons exposed to Ebola into the country. The developments come as Principal Secretaries Dr. Ouma Oluga of Medical Sevices and Mary Muthoni of Public Health on Thursday gave the move a thumbs up saying the initiative confirms the confidence other countries have in Kenya’s health system.
