President Ruto assents to three Bills

President William Ruto has assented to three critical Bills that will strengthen disaster response, protect the forests, and deliver equitable development to all parts of the country. The new laws are the National Disaster Risk Management Act 2023, the Forest Conservation and Management Amendment Act 2025, and the Equalization Fund Appropriation Act 2025 at State House Nairobi.
