COJ welcomes Marble Towers' urgent application ruling

The City of Johannesburg has welcomed the judgment by the High Court in relation to the urgent application concerning Marble Towers situated in the CBD.

The court dismissed the urgent interdict application brought by the owners of Marble Towers building to stop the city from demolishing illegal and unsafe structures erected within the building.

The court has ordered that the applicants, GoldenRod Group stop any construction or installation of building structures on the property.
