Malema calls anti-immigrant protests ‘Afrophobia’

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has described the recent protests against undocumented immigrants as 'Afrophobia'.

He has also voiced concern over the response from some African countries, while welcoming a proposal by Ghanaian President John Mahama for the matter to be discussed at the upcoming African Union (AU) mid-year meeting in Egypt.
