Russia out of Moldova & Georgia? EU’s peace terms revealed | News In Depth

EU foreign ministers are meeting in Limassol, Cyprus, to discuss whether Europe should step into peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. While most wonder who should represent the bloc in the negotiations, an often unexplored angle is what Europe’s demands for Russia should be.

“Russia (...) has been only demanding things, and whatever concessions (...) were on the part of Ukraine. (…) Ukraine agreed to a number of other things. And Russia agreed to absolutely nothing. (...) And so far, the EU has nothing really that it was demanding from Russia other than stopping the war,” said Marcin Zaborowski, TVP World’s Europe Editor.
