New Orleans welcomes tall #ships ahead of July 4 #celebrations

The Port of New Orleans welcomed the U.S. Coast Guard’s “Tall Ship” and several Navy warships ahead of Independence Day celebrations. A 90-meter-long Coast Guard cutter arrived alongside 12 other tall ships and naval vessels. Organizers say the flotilla will sail along the Mississippi River from May 27 to June 1 as part of events linked to the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States.
