“Donald #Trump” #buffalo avoids #slaughter after online frenzy

A buffalo with a blond fringe and a viral nickname has captured Bangladesh's attention.

The rare albino animal, dubbed “Donald Trump” by its owner’s family, was set to be sacrificed during Eid al-Adha before authorities stepped in over public safety concerns linked to huge crowds of visitors.

Weighing nearly 700 kilograms, the buffalo became an online sensation after videos trended across social media.

Officials have now ordered the animal moved to Dhaka’s national zoo.
