Ukraine-Russia war appears to be intensifying

Four years and three months into Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the war appears only to be intensifying, with condemnation from the United Nations Secretary General after attacks against civilians and civilians infrastructure only escalates. On Sunday, Russia used a powerful hypersonic ballistic missile during a massive drone aerial assault on Ukraine's capital Kyiv in what Russia's Defence Ministry described as retaliation for an attack on a college dormitory in Starobilsk in the Russian-occupied part of Ukraine's Luhansk Oblast that killed at least 21 people a few days earlier. The envoys of both countries traded verbal blows at the UN with Ukraine accusing Russia of an appalling level of aggression while Russia responded by labeling Kyiv a terrorist regime.
