World Cup-bound Bafana Bafana received a proper, first World Cup send-off ahead of this evening's official event and squad announcement in Pretoria.

The team's financial backer, Standard Bank, organised the Johannesburg event. Fans wished the team well ahead of their first World Cup appearance in a decade. SABC News Sports Anchor Mawande Mateza is at the Union Building where the Official Sendoff for Bafana Bafana will take place later tonight.
