LGE 2026 | 2026 Local Government Elections launch

The Electoral Commission of South Africa has just launched its communications campaign at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, for the local government elections scheduled for November the 4th.

The commission hopes to generate interest in the polls at a time when confidence in the country's democracy is at an all-time low.
