Taxi operators from Ngqushwa halt scholar transport services

The department of Education in the Eastern Cape says it is devising plans to work around returning lost academic time in the schools that have been affected by an ongoing scholar transport strike due to their non payment, as part of their demonstration, the scholar transport operators have halted scholar transport service, and also forced for the closure of schools in Ngqushwa rural town in the province. This has left parents extremely concerned about this move, as the mid term examinations are approaching.
