Immigration Crisis | Migrants stranded at Durban repatriation centre

Various humanitarian aid groups are helping displaced refugees and undocumented immigrants around Durban.

They are distributing food, hygiene and baby supplies to people who have set up campsites across the city.

Close to 300 undocumented Malawian migrants are outside the old Drive-In site in the North Beach area, waiting for buses to Musina.
While Zimbabwean migrants are being taken home from nearby Hoy Park.

At the same time, refugees have been sleeping outside the Home Affairs Refugee Reception Centre for the past eight weeks.
