A simple act of kindness has touched many people online. On May 29, a stray dog was spotted sitting alone in the middle of a road in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Seeing the animal in a potentially dangerous situation, a passing driver immediately stopped and carried it to safety. The video quickly went viral on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, drawing more than one million views.
