Knysna family accuses municipality of harassment

A family in Knysna in the Western Cape has alleged harassment and intimidation against a local municipal housing official and has taken the matter to court. Nomabhongo Mani and her family have been living on their plot of land in Kayalethu for decades and have a title deed. An RDP house was recently built on their land, and officials allowed the existing structure to remain. The official has now threatened to demolish the bungalow, allegedly due to their conflicting political stances.
