Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held bilateral talks with Australian Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Richard Marles in New Delhi.

During the meeting, Rajnath Singh congratulated Australia on the publication of its 2026 National Defence Strategy and Integrated Investment Program and expressed interest in discussing the policy framework and opportunities to further strengthen India-Australia defence cooperation.

The discussions focused on enhancing strategic partnership and exploring new avenues for defence collaboration between the two countries.
