FIFA World Cup 2026 | Mackenzie, Jordaan, Bafana fans join Football Fridays campaign

The countdown has begun ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, which kicks off in Mexico. Billed as a historic re-encounter of the 2010 World Cup opening match in South Africa, Bafana Bafana will take on Mexico in their opening match on June 11, 2026, at the Mexico City Stadium.

The 104-game tournament features 48 teams across 16 host cities in three countries – Canada, Mexico and the United States.
