Home Affairs identifies three criminal suspects at Musina repatriation centre

The Department of Home Affairs says it has identified three criminal suspects at the Musina repatriation centre since the repatriation process began last month.

Home Affairs Chief Director, Albert Matsaung says the murder, rape and robbery suspects were flagged during the fingerprint verification process.

The crimes were committed in other areas in the country, and the suspects have since been handed over to police.

Meanwhile, undocumented migrants from various parts of South Africa continue to arrive at the centre in large numbers for verification and repatriation.
