US Secretary of State Rubio in India to repair trade, energy and defence ties

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has held talks with senior officials in New Delhi.
The two sides discussed trade, energy, defence cooperation, and the conflict in the Middle East.
Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said the government plans to diversify its energy sources, citing the impact of instability in the Middle East on global supplies.
