Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says Trump called him at last minute to join China trip

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang was a last-minute addition to US President Donald Trump’s entourage of industry leaders on his recent state visit to China to meet President Xi Jinping. “He called me in the morning, he didn’t realise I wasn’t going and he insisted that I get on the plane and go,” said Mr Huang.

He also explained how China could become “everybody’s greatest rival”.

He spoke to CNA correspondent Victoria Jen in a wide-ranging interview on Monday (May 25).
