Nvidia’s Jensen Huang says narrative that connects AI to job loss ‘just too lazy’

As more companies cut jobs while citing AI, Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang said the narrative that connects AI to job losses is “just too lazy”, adding that it’s couched that way by CEOs to “sound smart”.

“I really hate that. I think we're scaring people and that's irresponsible,” he said in a wide-ranging sitdown interview with CNA correspondent Victoria Jen on Monday (May 25).

He also has a message to people who are worried about losing their job to AI.
