Lebanon Liberation Day: 26 years on, former Khiam prisoners recount torture

May 25th marks the day Israeli forces withdrew from southern Lebanon in the year 2000.
It's known as “Liberation Day” but 26 years later, liberation is facing a dual threat.
An expanding Israeli military campaign and a systematic effort to erase the physical evidence of alleged past war crimes.
Recent satellite imagery shows Israeli bulldozers have completely razed what remained of the infamous Khiam Detention Center - a torture complex once operated by Israel and its proxy militia.
