At least 3 dead in Philippines building collapse

At least three people have died after a nine-storey building under construction in Angeles City, Philippines collapsed on Sunday (May 24). 17 others are still reported missing.

The collapse occurred in the early hours of the morning, with search and rescue operations ongoing.

Among those killed was a 65-year-old Malaysian national whose body was recovered from a neighbouring hotel affected by the collapse.

Investigations are under way into the cause of the incident.
