#War has come to #Europe, warns former Ukrainian Defense Minister

The deployment of an additional 5,000 U.S. troops to Poland has refocused attention on NATO’s eastern flank at a moment of growing uncertainty over America’s long-term military posture in Europe.

Speaking to TVP World, former Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov argued that the war in Ukraine has already transformed Europe’s understanding of security. “European countries started realizing that war has come to Europe,” he said, pointing to drone disruptions, air raid alerts, and growing instability across the continent.
