Bomi County in the city of Nyningchi is a key corridor linking the city of Chamdo with central Xizang. It played an important role during Xizang's peaceful liberation and the subsequent efforts to defend peace. A Soviet-style building still stands in Bomi today, bearing witness to countless moments of revolution and struggle.
