Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura has defended President William Ruto’s recent State visits to Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, describing them as strategic diplomatic missions aimed at unlocking new economic opportunities for Kenya and strengthening the country’s global standing.Mwaura says the President’s growing influence on the international stage is opening doors for stronger bilateral and multilateral relations beyond Kenya’s traditional Western allies. Meanwhile, the Government has also announced tougher regulations to protect children from harmful online content amid growing concerns over excessive digital exposure among young people.
