Iran is world’s leading sponsor of ‘terrorism’: Marco Rubio

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is holding a presser with his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
He is on a four-day visit to India amid a potential memorandum of understanding to end the US-Israel war on Iran.
Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Rubio has accused Iran of sponsoring terrorism across the world.
“No nation on earth sponsors more terrorism than Iran,” he said, addressing a press conference in New Delhi, India.
He noted that Iran does not spend money on building roads and improving lives of people but instead invests in sponsoring Hezbollah and Hamas.
“The world’s leading sponsor of terrorism is Iran. Look at what they are doing now. They are holding hostage civilian vessels…they’ve laid mines in an international waterway,” he said.
