BREAKING: Shooting near White House leaves suspect dead, bystander injured | DW News

The US Secret Service said a person approached a checkpoint near the White House, pulled a gun out of his bag and started shooting at officers, who returned fire. Two people were injured, including the suspect who later died in the hospital.
