Iran nuclear talks face hurdles as US seeks indefinite enrichment halt

Tehran does not share Washington’s optimism, saying core gaps remain on enrichment and the stockpile of highly enriched uranium.

No agreement has been reached on a time-limited halt: US negotiators floated a cap in Islamabad, but President Trump said any halt should be indefinite, a stance Iranian sources call contradictory.
