Prosecutor in Joe 'Ferrari' Sibanyoni case told he would be 'eliminated'

The National Prosecuting Authority has confirmed that it has applied for leave to appeal the contempt of court order and warrant of arrest issued against prosecutor Mkhuseli Ntaba.

The legal action stems from the high-profile extortion and money laundering case of taxi boss Joe "Ferrari" Sibanyoni and his 3 co-accused.

During the bail application in the Kwaggafontein Magistrate's Court in Mpumalanga, Ntaba failed to appear, prompting Chief Magistrate Tule-tu Tonjeni to hold him in contempt, strike the case off the roll, and issue a warrant for his arrest.
