China mine blast death toll hits 90: Nine still missing after Shanxi explosion

The death toll from a gas explosion at a coal mine in northern China’s Shanxi province has risen to 90, while nine people remain missing. Chinese President Xi Jinping has urged authorities to “spare no effort” in treating the injured and continuing search-and-rescue operations.
