During his visit to China, UNESCO Director-General Khaled El-Enany highlighted the global impact of China's education initiatives, saying the country's national smart education platform has helped hundreds of millions of young people worldwide gain access to learning opportunities. In an interview with CMG, he emphasized the importance of sharing China's experience in digital education and AI development, noting that artificial intelligence can expand access to education and provide more personalized learning while remaining inclusive and ethical. He also stressed that AI should support, not replace, teachers, underscoring the need to balance technological progress with human-centered education.
