Poland’s first F-35s arrive

A historic arrival for Poland’s air force – and NATO’s eastern flank.

The first Polish F-35 fighter jets have landed at the Łask Air Base, becoming the first fifth-generation combat aircraft to be permanently stationed on NATO’s eastern frontier.

The advanced jets will strengthen security across the entire region, said Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
