South African Flotilla Activist: Experience in Israeli prison was 'harrowing'

A group of international activists and humanitarian volunteers who sailed toward Gaza with aid have arrived in South Africa after being intercepted by Israeli authorities during their mission to challenge the naval blockade on Gaza.

The flotilla aimed to deliver humanitarian assistance, while Israel says the blockade is for security reasons, with activists insisting the mission was peaceful.
