SADC Kruger Retreat | Irregular migration to feature high on Day 2 Agenda

In day 2 of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Foreign Affairs Ministers' Retreat at the Kruger National Park, the issue of irregular migration is expected to feature high on the agenda.

This follows comments by DIRCO Minister Ronald Lamola that other SADC Member States also need to share the burden of irregular migration in the region.

A closed-door session involving SADC Foreign Ministers and Trade Ministers will look at intra-trade within the bloc, together with logistical support and the ease of movement of goods from the ports to markets.
