An Edmonton judge found a dog owner guilty of criminal negligence after a fatal dog attack that killed an 11-year-old boy in 2024. Criminal defence lawyer Rishi Gill says although gruesome outcomes are rare, owners of dogs with violent predispositions must exercise more caution.
