Public Protector | Report on Charlotte Maxeke hospital failed repairs

Public Protector Advocate Kholeka Gcaleka has ordered the Gauteng Departments of Health and Infrastructure Development to submit a detailed action plan within 30 days, for collaboration to effect repairs at a Johannesburg hospital.

This follows the office's findings that the two departments had failed to act with urgency to restore critical services at Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital after a fire in 2021.
