Peace effort exhausted: Kyiv pushes new format | Ukraine Brief

Russian strikes against Ukraine killed 5 people and injured dozens more over the last day, with residential areas coming under heavy fire. This comes as Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that the possibility of breakthrough through a U.S.-brokered peace talks was “largely exhausted.”

The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale to Ukraine of roughly 108 million dollars in supplies for the HAWK missile system, used to defend against inbound Russian aerial attacks. NATO Secretary General Marke Rutte confirmed today that President Zelenskyy plans to attend a NATO summit in Ankara this July.
