City of Johannesburg continues Fleurhof raids

Years of criminal activity, overcrowding, and deteriorating living conditions at the Fleurhof Hostel in western Johannesburg, have prompted the City of Johannesburg to launch a major multi-stakeholder raid, and demolition operation in the area.

The city's MMC for Human Settlements, Mlungisi Mabaso, was joined by law enforcement agencies, and Home Affairs and Social Development officials for the operation.
